Capital Regional Council Figure Skating Competitions

The CRC hosted The Capital Regional Council Figure Skating Competition ("CRC Competition", CRC Low Test Competition") from 1976 to 2010. It was open to members of the CRC Member Clubs and included events in all disciplines at levels from beginner up through Intermediate.

The first CRC Competition was held at the Columbia Ice Rink in Columbia, Maryland on March 11, 1976. The last, the 35th, was held at Mt Vernon Ice Rink in Alexandria, Virginia, on Saturday, March 13, 2010. Over the years, the competition was held at several other rinks in the Washington, DC, area, including Bowie Ice Arena and Cabin John Ice Rink. From 1995 to 2003, it was held at the Dahlgren Hall Ice Rink at the United States Naval Academy in Annapolis.
